A video to celebrate the 56 years (until now) of Jim and Lois Garner's marriage. It's a true love story. I do not own any rights to it. It's just a video made by a fan, with lots of photos that I collected from the internet. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy! :)

This brought a great to my eye. Their love shone out of each photo. He looked so proud of her, so pleased she was his wife, even after all the years. And she looked at him adoringly. He was a handsome guy, and she was good looking too and could have given Hollywood a run for it’s money. She had great legs in those photos of them at the beach. He could have had anyone in Hollywood and he chose the one he fell in love with at first sight. What a wonderful story.

I was lucky enough to meet the fabulous Mr. Garner at a talent/modelling convention in L.A. back in the mid-90s. As I taught classes in Media Acting I asked Mr. Garner if he might sign a photo to my class that I could display on my studio's "Hall of Fame." No sooner said than done. A beautiful inscription: TO ALL THE STUDENTS. BEST OF LUCK AND BEST WISHES (signed). I will treasure that photo forever. James Garner. Simply put: A class act. RIP Sir and God bless.

Sunshine Baker well, good thing Jim treated Kim just as good as he treated Gigi. A person who treats their step child as good as their birth child is a rarity. One of my brothers-in-law treats his two step children just like his own daughter. He doesn't care that he didn't help my sister make them. They are as much his kids as the daughter he had with my sister And I heard that Jim lost his mother at the age of five, and his step mother beat him. Thank God he didn't turn into a step father like that

How "coincidental" that, right after I had finished reading James Garner's autobiography, "The Garner Files," I should find this on my You Tube page!! In his marvelous book, he spoke so adoringly about his wife Lois, but rarely showed any of her photos. She's just a beautiful as he said she was. Thanks for sharing :)

Great video. I have had a crush on James Garner since first saw him in Maverick TV show back in 1957 and I told him that in person when I met him back in 1978 while he was filming Rockford Files on Lankershim Blvd. In North Hollywood I was so thrilled to meet him. I have his autograph too and I am not even even an autograph person.... R.I.P. Mr. Garner You will be missed.

Tip for every guy - he cherished his wife and daughters, he provided extremely well for his family, they lived in a beautiful gated house, he was supremely handsome, a kind and principled man, a man’s man, and a true gentleman, he was a terrific dancer, exuded endless sex-appeal, was stunningly charming and deeply committed to the well-being of his family - yes, girls, it’s that easy!

I'm sure the "caring" part was truly equal, or their marriage just wouldn't have lasted too long. Even if outside of, but especially INSIDE, the "pressures" of a "Hollywood lifestyle".

Thanks so much for posting their story. Extremely happy to know he lived his personal life in a manner I would wish for him. He never disappointed me in any. TV or movie, and sure enough in real life, he was true to the character I have loved since Maverick TV days. loving memories from a hugh movie fan. RIP dear James Garner.

My father looked like James Garner. Even when James Garner was older my older Daddy still looked like him. Mr. Garner has always been very special to me.

In earlier years Lois resembles Neile McQueen. Ironically Steve and Neile lived next door to the Garners. Very nice tribute and song/music. Cheers

I always loved watching Jim Garner in Maverick and Rockford Files back in the 70's. Great actor and good man. Loved the Carpenters and it was a shame when Karen Carpenter died in the early 80's. My how the world has changed and I wish to go back in time.

Thank you so much for making this video. I loved it. Kudos to you! I was part of a group that just sent in a petition to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to get Jim an honorary Oscar. I hope the Academy awards the Oscar to Jim. It is long overdue and richly deserved. Jim and Lois define class and character. Perfect choice of music also. Thanks again.

So sad to hear of James Garner's passing. Have always loved him from the tv shows of the 70's and so much more. He really was the most handsome man and he had a lovely wife, who he obviously loved and she him, this was a gorgeous tribute to them both, thank you for showing it.
