A Christmas ornament of a cruise ship on James's desk from Lou Trabbie stirs up an old topic of conversation with CBS Senior Vice President of Late Night Programming (West Coast) about The Late Late Show setting sail for a week of episodes. And Nick's latest podcast appearance has resulted in some street art outside our offices.

The cruise needs to happen and we need to see some "behind the scenes" stuff from it. The whole crew is just a wild ride, imagine them on a wild ride... I love how they have basically incorporated everyone in the room to the show. It is rarely a monologue from James and more like a group performance... Who doesn't like a well written good bit of comedy, but real life can be even more wondrous than someone's imagination.

James Corden, Seth Meyers and Conan are the only hosts (former host in Conan's case - until HBO) which interact and involve their team and staffers and I love them all for it. it's so much more interesting to see normal people work on this shows and gives them the relatable angle I like. so I also wouldn't mind a segment where they introduce employees, their jobs, their normal days so we see what they're actually doing and how their days look. a peek behind the camera is always interesting.
