My friend, James, This is Stu in Richmond, VA. You remember I was sick unto death for years. I came to report the victory. I am totally healed. Not a disease or ailment in my body. I was looking forward to coming to your appreciation this year, but due to Covid. When we can get together, we will dance and dance some more. I appreciate you and love you my friend. Hit me up as soon as you can. God bless.

I don't know the name of the organist on the Hammond but I recognize his face and music style. I see and hear him play a lot with other artist such as Hezekiah Walker. Imagine how many songs this guy must learn to near perfection and not one piece of sheet music is sitting in front him! That's how we often do it in the church! God gifted musicians! I praise God for his gifts to us.

James hall and wap is one of a kind however i have to disagree when the guy said they're the start or Brooklyn is the start of the heavy choir vibrato sound nope that definitely started in the Midwest Detroit! Chicago! Indiana! Milwaukee etc we do it way better than the east we have a better Style sound and control I'm not taking away from James Hall but there's nobody that can do it better than the Midwest being that 90% of the choirs and those cities that are named that's in the Midwest sing with heavy vibrato whether they're mainstream or not most of the choirs singing that way the only choir that I know of that make some noise that thinks that way from Brooklyn is James Hall I don't know of no other choirs from Brooklyn for the state of New York other than James Hall that stinks that way
@truewritter083 жыл бұрын
Ricky Dillard used God is in control and recorded it a Midwest Style James Hall must have caught wind of that I started singing that way because my James Hall first recorded God is in control it was not song in a heavy vibrato style go look at the video yourself watch how James are singing back in the 80s they go back and watch Ricky Dillard back in the 80s or go back and watch Thomas Whitfield in the 80s and you will see and hear the heavy vibrato sound jbh nevertheless James Hall is the professor!
@blessedtenor4 ай бұрын
James Hall always sung the way they have tho. It's a up north thing anyways when it comes to the Vibrato. Before WAP.. They were called the mighty 18.. 6 Sap, 6 altos, 6 tenors.. They have vids on here called the mighty 18.. That was before Ricky came out
