Adding Harden makes sense in a way because he provides stability as a point guard. He knows how to run the show and take time off the clock especially at the end of games. This was something they didn't have in 2020 and 2021. Harden slowed the game down once the Mavs started pushing the pace. Harden has given them a legit point guard, something they didn't have in the past.

I don’t think subbing in a 7 footer would have made any difference. He either lobs or floats them in the paint. Just have to defend perimeter better and don’t allow his drive.

@TheMrJones19945 ай бұрын
@@georgedevine4130 If you watch that and think he didnt I dont know what to tell you. He cant blow by people consistantly like he could before his hamstring injury. He can get by them but its not even close to the same explosiveness. Everything he does is much more methodical now. He definitely cant finish nearly how he used to because he cant get up as high or as quick as he used to. Not even Rockets harden, when he first got to the nets he still could
@true2this7455 ай бұрын
@@TheMrJones1994 harden was blowing by pj and Luka for those floaters in the 4th quarter and don’t talk about Luka’s foul trouble because harden n pg also had 4-5 fouls on them and both played physical defense.
