I found what Stephen A said interesting. That he possibly had a bad shooting night because of the scare of landing after the shot. Because it wasn't called the 1st 2-3 times it could have been in his mind that his landing would be compromised, which in turn caused him to miss more shots than he normally would. I don't believe this is the case, but it's plausible.

One of the reasons Harden and Steph kick feet out is so they Don't land on someone's foot. Think about finishing your jumper with your feet landing flat, if it's on dudes foot, you're screwed, but if you kick out, or land on your butt you're not able to land and put weight on someones foot..you can say they flopping but it seems part of it is to keep themselves safe.
