@CzarFace60125 жыл бұрын
The hate comes from casual fans, any real hooper can see his immediate effect on the game, there hasn’t been this much of a shift in the art since A.I. bringing the hesi cross. Harden is easily the smartest 1v1 offensive player to ever touch a court, and if he keeps this up, he’ll be the most skilled. Dude is a f**king genius. Just watch how he sets up every move 😍 his crossover before his euro is so 🎂 and it takes actually attempting a crossover at near full speed, while preparing your steps for his classic euro to understand. Then imagine doing that against the best athletes in the world on a daily basis...

I'm not hating on Giannis, but he hasn't done anything remarkable compared to Harden this season. Yes, they are first within the league, but in a considerably weaker conference and Bucks are overall a great team. Harden has to carry this injury-ridden Rockets team every time they step on the court, while putting 36 ppg.

Hey Coach, The Ringer has an article quoting D'Antoni: “It’s always a discussion,” D’Antoni says. “‘Should we move them on the weak side? Should we keep them steady?’ We space it so wide with Ryan and Eric Gordon and other guys. We can space the court so much that sometimes if you move them, they’re not ready to receive when our other guys are ready to pass. So … most of the time, we just stay there.” It seems that the minimal amount of movement on offense is deliberate. Since spacing is a priority, and players have to cover more ground with increased perimeter I can see where he's coming from. It might be preferable to sacrifice movement for space and and let the ballhandler work against mismatches at his own pace instead of trying to sync with movement. Do you think he's onto something here? Could it be the optimal way to squeeze the playmaking juice out of a machine that is James Harden? Or- heaven forbid- is he onto something more fundamental?
@bballbreakdown5 жыл бұрын
Yes, without question it’s deliberate. They’ve boiled down the offense to the absolute essentials and when u have two playmakers like CP3 and Harden, it might just be the best way to run the offense
