Best team? They had one good game. This is what's wrong with English rugby; the constant belief that they are the best in the world after one good game. The Saffas won the championship this year (beating nz arg and aus) and went on and won the wc. Great show, but absolute nonsense about England being the best in the competition.

I mean they lost to NZ and got destroyed for 20min, Wales nearly beat them in a very close game and held them off for 90% of the game. On the other hand, England comfortable beat all their matches and didn't concede many points / tries all the way to the final. Fairy play to South Africa winning and being the best team on that day, but apart from England losing the final I would say England where the best team in the competition if you looked at points conceded throughout the competition and attacking rugby I would say England where definitely in contention for best team overall in the tournament.

Jesus christ, i know you joke that its the rugby show that doesn’t talk about rugby, but this show Is getting ridiculous! its not going to be long before people stop tuning in! Haskell, Payne, Tindall and the producers sharing in jokes and chatting inanely about nothing does not an entertaining show make. We aren’t asking for 80 minutes of in depth rugger analysis, just 40 fucking minutes or so!

Fair enough, haskell had just come out, but then they get someone else in from i'm a celebrity! My point is, if there was no rugby being played to talk about then that would be excusable, but there is lots of rugby being played.............and its a rugby podcast.
