I mean wax tailor is an electronic musician too some would say, but do you find a resemblance between what he does and this? genres (electronic, rock, jazz, classical...), even sub-genres (hard tech, acid, trance, minimal, boogie, grunge, metal, fusion, funk, soul, baroque, romantic...) helps define a certain type of music production, period, mood, but it's only about giving a global idea, they don't always fit to describe, as a lot of artists try to innovate and not fall into classifications.

@sebastop10 if you knew about Holden then you would know he didn't always produce techno minimal experimental. if you know "musik" and holden then you would know he started off making his own style of trance. good progressive trance. (Horizons, Nothing). Then he quickly started getting more and more progressive (this song being a prime example of this stage in his career). then he it got more experimental and better and more experimental. (A Break in theclouds). THEN he did what he does now.

Now, do you have any idea if you want to come, or if it might be down your alley or not? Didn't think so. I think limiting yourself to liking only one or two genres IS bad, but using some broad terms to at least tell people what ballpark you're playing in, is FINE, and makes sense.
