What a superb voice, absolutely haunting, real, mournful, and intriguing; I could listen to J. Intveld all day.

Breaks my heart to watch this, but the song is so beautiful. James has a God given talent, in fact one of the best in the Americana / Country / Rockabilly genre's.

Hi James, I went to School with your brother Rick at "Garden Grove High". Had him in a couple classes, PE being one of them. I lived on 9th st. Right around the corner. I didn't really know your brother but Knew Steve Snead in drama class. One thing I remember about your brother at school was his smile. He was always so nice to everyone and happy. When I heard about what happened I was stunned and saddened to think he was just in school when I was there too. I had to look in my year book to see if it was the Rick from school. Your brother was born in Dec. 1962 just like me. Me the 22nd your bother 30th I believe? He would be 56 years old. I will never forget your brothers smile walking to class or whatever. It's one thing that was etched in my mind from Garden Grove High. Like your music. You have a new fan Dan :)

A great song, it's a shame that this music doesn't have its reward and others with vulgar songs are at the top. That's what we have today, all that creative art is covered up with vulgarity...

I think he sounds remarkably like Rodney Crowell. This could have been a Rodney Crowell song, actually. Sooooo reminiscent of him! I found James Intveld when I was looking into the voice behind Johnny Depp's "Cry-Baby" character. Much like George Clooney in "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", the vocals & lip syncing were so well done, it's hard to believe it WASN'T Johnny Depp doing his own singing. James Intveld is a new old favorite of mine.

@HonRevPTB You're right. I remember when I was in my early twenties I was reading a book called "James Dean, the mutant king." It was during my break at work when a fellow co-worker brought that to my attention. I was shocked. To me, at that time, Dean was the shit. Lets just say that ruined my image of him.
