If he didn’t hurt her, after telling the police officer he throw her down, and now breaking up with him what does that say! And you’re right he at some point he has to face charges. And I am sorry but AA is not the right place for him, there will be no one to hold him accountable. When you join that group it is up to you to work the program. He won’t, and no one will ever speak on him going to meetings because that is one of the major rules. I it a close circle and you never discuss anything. You really have to want to change otherwise it won’t work. And you don’t broadcast it, you just do it! I, like you, am concerned about who is next, it will not be good. Each time you get away with it, it just gets worse and someone will get hurt!
