It is better to hear the scenes in German because you can hear the emotions from the actors. Also James definitely wants Ruby, he is protecting her from his father. It is breaking his heart to push her away.

Macht bitte die Synchro besser. Ich bin beeindruckt, dass so viele Menschen aus anderen Ländern es gucken, obwohl die Synchro so so schlecht ist. Vielleicht würden dann auch andere deutsche Serien international gut ankommen. Synchros aus dem Englischen auf deutsch funktionieren ja auch super ​@@primevideoaunz

Credit to the acting in this show cause without it this scene woulda be the normal predictable scene we always get in these thropes but the acting starting with Mortimer was so good that the carry over of the threat was felt... And this scene the actors knocked it out the park as well the strength in Ruby and the fragility of James was 🔥

I couldn’t watch the dubbed at all. It was so annoying. I don’t know one word of German but put the German audio on immediately. It is so much better in German.
