This wasn’t even their biggest ACC upset, only the one with the most points scored. Their biggest upset was beating Virgina in 1982 and the second biggest was beating #13 Virginia Tech in 2010. However, in terms of the being the most remembered it will be this one.

JMU is absolutely lethal, and the Sun Belt is fortunate to have them. If they stick around, I do believe the Sun Belt will do relatively well with their next media rights deal. But they could easily be in the AAC by then. As for UNC, that school makes sense for the B1G just as a business decision. The basketball helps a bit too. This wouldn't be a great look if they were already a Big Ten program, though.
