If the public doesn't own the consensus mechanism it's not yours. The public doesn't own it. Ethereum is private. There is no public consensus mechanism for me to participate in the consensus of its decentralization.. mining is what makes crypto crypto. If you cannot mine it, It is not a cryptocurrency. The public must be responsible for the verification and distribution of the processing. With aetherium the public has no skin in the game. The only thing you can do is buy into it. There is no way to earn cryptocurrency by verifying the network therefore it is not a cryptocurrency.. It's a big nothing burger. How people don't understand this I have no idea.
