Meant to add the soundtrack is church music too. WOW. And this is from a sixties american car = just another reason why I love them.

WOW. Just found this. These cars were the bomb, and this driver is simply aces. Many thanks for posting.

Not bad for not being in a vair for many many years. It must of brought back many memories. I loved it. Brett Aston

I remember meeting him at the Mitty in 2012 ! What a trip the CSPRRC race was in 1976!

I just watched this video for the 14,732nd time and got as many goose bumps hearing and seeing the famed Yenko Stinger dust off everything in its field of vision!! I think the transmission has been regeared with closer ratios particularly between 2nd and 3rd gear. Nice combo with the willing powerplant!! Anyone know the top speeds achieved at Road Atlanta in the Stingers? Many thanks for sharing this timeless video!! Nice job!

Love it. Next time you see Mr. Reeve, tell him that *to this day*, this old SCCA guy still thinks the Stinger should have been an EP car..and that it's a testament to his skill that he dang near won a championship with it anyway.

Great video of great driving! I only wish the camera had been pointed a tad higher, so we could see out the rear view mirror.

YAWZA! My only claim to fame here is that James didn't lap me. However, if we had several more laps I may have seen him in my mirror! Great stuff, great time! Rick Norris

I can see why the Corvair was so controversial. Take it to the track and spank a few porsches around with a a cheap american car:) The high brows must have been so pissed!
