For the amount of money that bass probably would cost I would rather buy a professional grade bass and cello/double bass instead lol

I've never heard it in person but you can tell even from the video that it sounds pretty distinct from an upright. Sounds distinctly electric, especially way up there on the G string.

@@BourdeoixEterno lol, "...easy way out" it's victor wooten. seriously doubt ease was a concern for him. if he wanted to play upright he could just easily play upright. this is a completely different animal with it's own approach bowing wise. would think it was more so a fun design challenge for vinny and him to take on
