I have a question when will it be painted in it’s Ffestiniog colour and when will it enter service on the Ffestiniog railway

It will go into the paint shop next and then there are a few more jobs to do and it will probably be September or October when it goes on test.

Pity the first preserved engine has now been dismantled, but at the same time I am looking forward to seeing James Spooner.

The first steam locomotive to run on the FfR in preservation was Prince, which is still going strong and definitely not dismantled

​@@DanQuineI suspect EoM is meant. Do we know whether there's any ring-fenced fund for it's eventual rebuild?

EoM isn’t dismantled. It patiently awaits whatever form of restoration that eventually happens. It is in the carriage shed at Glan y Pwll. Bogies on Fairlies are interchangeable and it sits on a worn set. Not sure if money is assigned to a rebuild but never say never.
