when people say "wish i could see more of this side of Laganja during the show", do they realize that this side has ALWAYS been there but the Producers wouldn't want it on T.V because it's not entertaining enough? This calm and nice side of laganja does not pull ratings for the show, therefor the producers weren't even going to show it, they want drama, so all you see is Laganja's break down and kiki voice. All the other parts were edited it out.

Thank you so much for pointing that out! It seems that a lot of people don't realize how heavily the show is edited. They can make any queen or any situation look pretty much any way they want. The viewers need to realize that, and not be so hard on these girls. People need to give Laganja a break!

I think Laganja was just put in a bad light on RPDR. I enjoyed Laganja here a lot, one of my favorite transformations.

+Tsion Ford I think it was heavy compensation as well; she was a new girl in a big show with a lot of very high calibre, so she turned up all those mannerisms. Withdrawal from her marijuana for her anxiety also turned that up, so the mix of anxiety with compensation blew her character completely over the top. But I live for it; Laganja's trainwreck tendencies on the show made that first half of season 6 so amazing to me. Laganja and Gia were a flawlessly over-the-top pairing as well.

I would say the since Jay has been a pupil of Justin since high school, yea there is a personality mix there. They are close, and when they say family they don't mean drag family but real family. They are as close as anyone can get without sharing the same mother. Alyssa and Justin has taught Jay and Laganja everything, albeit Laganja has grown creatively on her own with her own special talents. They will always share alyssa-isms.

This is why I think she would be a great candidate for All Stars or another regular season of RPDR. She left Season 6 on such an ugly note. Laganja and Phi Phi are not in the same category. Laganja was never a bitch and did not undermine anyone. She was just irritating in a Mimi Imfurst way. Phi Phi approached drag race like a ruthless sociopath so it is unfair to put them together. With that said I still like Phi Phi even with her egomaniac personality traits.

I think Laganja might've been referring to the editing of the show. They film 14 hours a day, there's a lot that "isn't good television", so there's probably footage of him being calmed and nice but it never made it to the final cut.

I love it when drag make-up uses costume/sci-fi make-up techniques! The scales effect isn't anything new, I've seen it before on a "How to look like Alien Flo" youtube video, still love seeing it incorporated into a drag look! Yeah I can agree on this tenfold, but sadly adore's personality became her trump car and she became top 3 cause of it. Adore knew her looks weren't good so she relied on funny and personality to get her through which is hard to do but she managed. Adore is my favourite queen however, I would actually rather have laganja for top 3 instead of Courtney, atleast laganja knows how to hype up the party while Courtney is boring and can only stick to one look and that's it. If laganja didnt act the way she did I have high hopes that she could've made it far.
