Well done Sharon and everyone involved in bringing this piece of important History to the fore. I too had never heard about James Stagg and his massive contribution to the success of the D-Day landings . Well deserved recognition.

Another blue plaque dedicated to the memory of Gp Capt Stagg may be seen on the wall of a house in Carlton Road, Seaford, East Sussex. The great man lived there in retirement.
