My Earliest Childhood Home was Next to a Gas Station on CannonSt. And Victoria Ave but was Torn Down to Build a Car Wash. The Old Alley is Stlill There. I Greatly Appreciate this Trip Down Memory-Lane. 🍁❤️

Very well done with the exception of the out of time banjo in the beginning. The narration is spoken in a clear enough voice as to not require subtitles but some hard of hearing folks may need them. I hope this continues and the whole city is covered. I was born in Hamilton in May of 1943 and lived and worked in many parts of the city until I left in 1976. I was back in the mid 80s for a few years so I find this series most interesting.

It is so sad how many beautiful buildings don't exist anymore and are often replaced now by ugly buildings from the late 20th century or parking lots. :'-(

What a fantastic effort. Kudos to everyone involved! Can't wait to see a series in King Street East to Wellington, with an emphasis on the Century, Capitol and Palace theatres. (My second vote would be King Street West from James to Bay, from Hunter to York Boulevard, focusing on what used to be there. We need a clearer picture of how things 'used to be'. As it currently stands, there's a ton of misinformation out there that serves no purpose at all except to add credence to revisionist history.)

James Street North was my volunteer work-term / retraining package in 2016-2018. Two years long, and it was valuable. However, the numbers of homeless people was just astronomical. 300 people a day was average. (symbolic) Poverty was just rancid. One thing I did notice, was a tiny, reconverted movie theatre across the street, the name of which was stripped off, previous. It was only large enough for up to about 50 people.

Very interesting video thanks I'm currently living in a apartment building at 24 Tisdale street south which is owned by my uncle Angelo's company (on my late mother's side) and been here since 2011 and was told that there was a old water Mill here before and was wondering if anyone had any information thanks again sincerely Peter
