Im really starting to look forward to your stories. You are taking Mr Creeps spot as my favorite narrator.

Oh wow people, mr creeps and galactic horrors? I feel for you guys, I never could listen to a whole story from them, creeps with his Napoleon Dynamite sounding aah voice, and galactic with all that AI written drivel that doesn't say anything. I could give you a whole ass list of superior channels, but for now, this guy right here seems like an obvious choice (assuming other stories are better written than this one, which I'll soon find out since I have a couple more queued. As for you mr narrator guy, you got a great voice, keep grinding. I'm addicted to these things. Edit: fine, I'll give you one for reference, both for your listening pleasure, and expanding your horror horizons - Stygian Sagas. Writes his own stories, mostly, if not all, contained in the same universe. Lovecraft-ish.

It was a fun story, but why would we even be so focused on fancy telescopes when we can already fly to other stars.

Yes, you're approaching the spot of my fav storyteller (not saying who), you're getting better in the narration and narrative but with cool, fresh plot ideas. Thank you!

In every one of these stories where the obvious choice should be to destroy the ship and EVERYONE in it as soon as they have been compromised by something. Selfishness always prevails.

Was SORTA ok, but...not telling the crew the message?, not translating the ENTIRE message before leaving???? Do better NASA

This is really interesting but 11 minutes in I was already wishing it was 2 hours long. Now I've got 8 minutes left and I feel like the story is just getting started.

@@Dr.Void_ltd I love this Sci Fi version of Creepy Pasta with technical details. Please make them longer though. This story ended right when it was going somewhere, IMO. I'd like more details between the characters and more while in the star's orbit. Borrow some stuff from Event Horizon if you have to. Overall, I like where you're going so, I'm going to sub you.
@Arondell40Ай бұрын
My suspension of disbelief took a major hit when the protagonist reveals he didn't tell anyone about the decoded message until after they arrived at the star and the excuse was he "just hadn't found the right time." 🤦♂ The level of cluelessness that requires just knocked me right out of the story. Pretty good otherwise.

They doomed themselves before they even launched. Icarus son Daedalus flew to close to the sun, the artificial wings his father Daedalus built melted and Icarus fell to his death. Die from injuries sustained from terminal velocity on impact.

It's 1,468 ly from Earth. It would take 100s of thousands of years with current tech. 1000+ years at light speed...
@learnedtechsolutionsАй бұрын
At relativistic speeds it would take a lot less time from the perspective of those on board the ship, but far longer for an outside viewer.

Look up Dr Steven greer and listen to what he has to say. According to him aliens have crash landed on earth and we have took them back to there star system in 2 weeks. That was back in the 60's

Spoiler: The ship you were traveling in was atom sized when compared to the giant Jupiter size creatures that were guarding the sun. So when you say that your arrival, released the creature, which was being held by the power of the sun and the collassal wardens enveloping it… is when I had a laugh a laugh of disappointment. Such a waste of a good start, and middle. The ending is just poor. Your arrival couldn’t even have been compared to a butterfly’s flutter in an amazon forest. That’s how small you are to them.

I know...wasn't satisfied myself with the ending but had to put the video out...will get better at endings soon...Thanks for watching ❤️
