Thank you for your service. Those from Vietnam are forever grateful. You were right and just to be there. God bless YOU! The North were communist and the people are not free today. :(

One of my favorite pieces on this fabulous soundtrack! ELECTRA GLIDE IN BLUE is one of my all-time favorite movies. I went to see it at a showing here in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago--and it was great!

I was 11 when this movie came out! But mostly because of the music I went to the pólice academy after high school. Of course, I just took some leaflets and went back home, haha

When I was 15 I saw this movie in Paris in '73 by myself...it was R rated at the time....it's a cult classic now. James Guercio produced many musicians including Chicago....Terry Kath and Peter Cetera were in the movie. Guercio went on to build the Caribou Ranch in Colorado where many groups recorder music. It's a good story I recommend reading up about it.

T.K. actually played Bass on this Sountrack. Another great guitarist,Larry Carlton, played lead guitar.

@@davidmcwhorter2470 Oh that is so cool! Thanks for sharing that! Hearing this sound, Jim Guercio had a big part of Chicago's signature sound. Here is the evidence. ;)
Sorry for the delayed answer. According to a few sources it should be James Pankow.

Jim Guercio was one helluva an s.o.b. 😂 He got Chicago to do the Soundtrack for EGIB without crediting their musicianship... Sure, it was his composition and production but the boys in the band played the actual music! Instead, Guercio placated Chicago bandmates by giving them parts in this film: Kath, Cetera, Parazaider, and Loughnanne... 🤣 The s.o.b. probably didn't even pay them for it, either...! Cetera was Bob Zimko... Loughnanne had arguably one of the best lines in the film: "I got some information... You're standing in pigshit..." Kath was the killer who guns down Robert Blake (aka Mickey Gubitosi from Our Gang and later Baretta)...
