I grew up in south Belfast, born in 1952. When listening to this reminds me of a 12th of July morning when I was about 10 years old. Our next door neighbors were a mixed marriage RC & PROD their next door neighbor was the master of his Orange Lodge so the kick the Pope band and the lodge members formed outside his house that morning to march to the local Orange Hall. We all as friends and neighbors celebrated that and wished them well in respect of our similarities and differences. What went so wrong, because as working folks regardless of what church we did or didn't go to most of us were respectful of each other.

Jimmy wouldn't have cared. My best friend growing up was Catholic, my father was from the Shankill Road, he didn't care either. James Young (by the way, he died in 1974): kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYjTdWmsZs11Zrc

@@Monad01 I know. I grew up listening to him. He was ahead of his time. Broke down barriers between the two prominent religious cults in Ireland, especially the North. He may have contributed to awareness of negative issues related to gender orientation too.

He seems to have died of a heart attack. My uncle Jerry from Ireland, died suddenly too. Over work, had a heart attack at 1 am after coming home from running his bar. Passed out on the couch, with no one there. No CPR could be done. I miss him. And wish I could talk to him. I almost wish I was wrong about heaven so I could see him again.
