Adi Gallia's death was one of the many shocking "did that just happen?!" moments of Clone Wars. Great episode, James! I always love hearing you and your friends talk voice work.

I love these episodes where you interview the VAs for lesser-known characters. It's a nice contrast to the obvious choices like Matt Lanter.

That’s actually pretty funny that Angelique said she loves red, because in the video games and toys that included Adi Gallia during The Phantom Menace, she had a red lightsaber
@professionalnerd40555 жыл бұрын
I believe she was the only Jedi to do so. I also heard that she just did it to be rebellious. Way to stick it to traditions! Taking down the Sith with their own lightsaber color! Adi Gallia is awesome

It wasn't a notable death to me, Adi Gallia died like an animal. Tragic and only tragic. But I'm glad Angelique Perrin got to be part of this amazing universe, whether as a Jedi or a Hutt or a droid, every single one of you VA's got to be part of something truly special. :)

I only heard about this channel the other day, so of course I did what any Clone Wars fan would do: Binge watched them all! Thank you JAT for bringing the Clone Wars back as a form of a talk show. I don't think I can ever get enough of these stories, characters and behind the scene stuff. This really is a quality show and I hope you'll get the ratings and viewers you deserve!

It's back! The break was well deserved, but it's time to get some more of these conversations going again. Man, I love that episode with the Droid Spa. I was cracking up with the first viewing, seeing Cad Bane deal with C-3PO while R2 being seduced by these very sexualized droids, oh my gosh, it was just priceless. This is a kids show and we've got these droids just being so promiscuous all for R2 to waste his credits on this spa. And then the next episode with Mama the Hutt, ugh, it's just so good. She's so sassy, it's fantastic. Also, I liked how you kind of danced around Adi Galia's death. "Savage does her in." Yeah you know, it's only one of the most graphic deaths in the show. Unfortunately, I never really felt sad about her death, Savage was one of my favorite characters in the show (I hope you've been able to get Clancy penciled in for an episode.) so to see him do anything was awesome, and I was just in awe of how he killed her. I mean, horns to the gut, that's pretty intense and kind of shows how far his character had fallen from when he was first introduced, and you know, being 17 at the time, it was so metal (Who am I kidding? That's always going to be metal.). And it's not a bad way to go from a perspective of not going out like a punk like getting shot, it was a very intimate killing and very unique. This is getting a little weird, I shouldn't be focusing so much on this. I guess from my perspective, I'm very neutral on the character because she did not have a bunch of screen time in the show. Unlike Satine with a similar number of appearances, the episodes she appeared in were about her so we got to know the character more and her death leaves more of an impact because of it. Adi Galia has some banter with Anakin, she has a few lines in other conversations, she fights, and then she dies. When she first appeared, I was over at a friend's place and we both though it was cool to see some new faces to the show like Eeth Koth and Adi Galia, but the episode was very much an Obi-Wan and Grievous episode, and she always seemed to be supporting cast in the future episodes. To end positively though, this was another good episode, and Angelique was wonderful. She has a way of sprinkling humor into all her stories.

Another great conversation between legends! Mr. Taylor, I'm not sure if you will see this but I have a question regarding what Angelique said: why do voice actors have to take their scripts home? I always assumed because they're recording voices, there wasn't a need to learn all of their lines from heart, unless there's another reason.
@JATactor7 жыл бұрын
TheAnimator727 it’s not about memorization it’s about reading through it. We are like any other actors we actually like reading the whole script, knowing the context and working through the various ways one could read the lines. But in general we get them in the recording studio and have to read it quick.
