A laid back arrangement of My Immortal by Evanescence :) Ended up cutting the arrangement short due to noise while I was recording, but I quite like how it keeps it relaxed as the original arrangement got a bit hectic towards the end!

Yeahhh it kinda did, but it kinda ruined the relaxed feel of the rest of it, as it dropped that piano part which is underneath the rest of the song :P I might put the tab somewhere with that bit in too :)

At first I thought it was just a relaxing song but as soon as the pre-chorus & chorus started I was like *jaw drops* So good..!! I was wondering btw, I'm sure you know every note on the fretboard, so do you think of the notes to pluck next while playing? It's probably a lame question though lol

Thanks, pretty minimalist arrangement :) I actually find its best not to think, a lot of fingerstyle players will say this but once you start to actually think consciously of what notes to play or what your fingers are doing it falls apart haha. Its mostly muscle memory :)

I've recently memorized the notes on the first three frets by playing some children's songs and I felt like knowing what notes to play kinda helped to master the songs faster! So I thought it might come in handy if I memorize all the notes of the songs that I struggled with to play haha. Thanks for the answer! :)

It sounds like you're overthinking the process of learning guitar. If it sounds right, it is right. Pick a song you want to play and learn how to play it. Repeat ad nauseum until your friends start complimenting you on your guitar skills.

Love this arrangement and thought I’d try to learn it so bought it as a download from Musicnotes, however half the tab is missing. It only has one verse, pre chorus, chorus and outro. There is a lot missing and a tabbing error in bar 6. Is there a complete arrangement of this track anywhere?
