I think I can speak for anyone and everyone following the tragic death of the legendary Carl Weathers passing when I say: Mr Carl Weathers? You may have been sung by James Brown ‘Living in America’ back then to fight Drago in front of an adoring crowd but now? Mr James Brown can sing you down on a stage beyond this earth and what you left behind in your legacy on the heavens above. Only this time? Your crowd are angels under the watchful eye of the good father God himself. Only this time? You are eternal both in your new life and the legacy you left behind for us fans. May you showcase your flashiness, your cockiness and your unmatched boxing ability and athleticism in the next life. And thank you for the memories and may you rest in paradise Mr Carl Weathers. We will always love you. ❤

If you're here, it's because you acknowledge America is better than Mexico and has provided a better life for you and your mom than Mexico ever could. I hope you know that and love America more than Mexico for providing you with this life and swear to protect all things that are in America's best interests and not Mexico's

@@joelhoulette3244 This song fit perfectly with "Rocky 4," a polished piece of Cold War propaganda. The heart of the film was Apollo and James Brown in the ring, performing. Overall, the film exhibited America's youthful exuberance, resilience after losing a battle and ability to defeat enemies, even while playing on their own turf, by their own rules.

At the end of that film, heavyweight champ Apollo swears he does not want seconds. But when Rocky “the Italian Stallion” Balboa gets to fight Apollo “The Master of Disaster,” “The King of Sting,” “The Dancing Destroyer,” “The Prince of Punch,” “The Count of Monte Fisto” LOOK familiar? You know I could never figure out how to get likes? It's rather simple isn't it? Cheat (copy and paste) or be fake and sometimes both. All these ....... that like your OBVIOUS c & p

@@geniusliterature Maybe you don't get likes because nobody likes you comments? I'd recommend a friendlier attitude and less tighter underwear as it seems its makes you a little bitter against the world. Today is July 4th, 2024 and "Living in America" is a 1985 song composed by Dan Hartman and Charlie Midnight and performed by James Brown. It was released as a single in 1985 and reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song entered the Billboard Top 40 on January 11, 1986, and remained on the chart for 11 weeks. It was his first Top 40 hit in ten years on the US pop charts, and it would also be his last. In 1987, it was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song and won Brown a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance
