A few weeks back I got put onto Hanes Beefy blanks for white T shirts. They’re around $12 each, thick, 100% cotton (for the white ones; some are cotton poly blend), and fit me really well.

I just got mine after trying about 4-6 different (quite mainstream) brands and settled on the colorful standards white t-shirt. It’s 100% cotton and is really lightweight in a good way plus I feel confident saying that they have the largest set of colours out of any brand I’ve ever seen, and it’s only 35€.

I think the Velva and Teal McCoy’s were the best fits. I think fit is king when it comes to T-Shirts. You might also like “old but gold clothing”, it’s a small Japanese brand and their loopwheel T’s have a great fit you might like. I also have one of their thermals which is a recreation of one of the vintage Sears ones.

Have you tried BAMBOO (or BAM) T-shirts at all? I bought a few over the past couple of years because I like their colours, and have found their Origin Luxe ones really hold up despite I wear them constantly. They barely need an iron after a wash, they fit me great, they're comfortable and feel strudy without being heavy. I also have some of their Air range because they're cheaper and often in different colours, but those are thinner as the name implies and they've seen a lot more wear. The Luxe ones just seem to have everything going for them, I just wish they'd stock more colours like with the Air ones.

There's no perfect T for all situations but the J Crew broken-in Tee comes very close. The fit is on the smaller side but if you like that look from the Bear you would love this one, it has a perfect cropped length on the sleeves and the hem, good mid-weight soft cotton, and a tight collar that never droops or sags. It gets even better with age.

great video!! really interested in the real mccoy's t shirt, i think i'm going to get it as i was shoping for a proper white tee that'll last me. also wondering - have you ever owned an asket tee and if so would you recommend? they sell them cropped length and seem like a legitimate brand with their sourcing & quality. i also have got to say I really appreciate you being basically the same build as me - same height & weight. I'm so sick of every brand using 185 - 190cm super skinny dudes, literally no model variation ever - so it's often really hard to tell how things will look on me, so your vids are a brilliant resource.

The most important thing on a tshirt is the material, no matter if its airism or supima.. what you need you look for is 100 % cotton, no polyester - it will make you hot) and linen if possible ( although I find it kind of hard to find linen in tshirts these days)..that will keep you the coolest in summer.

@dennismurphy91353 ай бұрын
If you proxy with something like buyee, you can buy barns from squeeze coconuts on Rakuten to get the Japanese price. You can also order from barns direct but make sure to buy from the Japanese site not the international since they put a hefty markup on the tees. Also if you see “rice cotton” it means American cotton. 🙂 Also avoid warehouse tees, the necks shrink a lot over time and they end up pretty uncomfortable.
