I am so glad to find your channel! I am a new hobby wood turner and want to make things for family. My family is very logical and practical, and they do not understand what work passion and time goes into making things. I hope my sharing this link with them will help them understand. They see you tube videos start to finish in 8 min and do not have the appreciation. Thank you so much for being the first video to acknowledged the time as well as the process. Very proud to be new subscriber, super like and look forward to catching up on your videos.

Thank you all for watching! This has been by far my longest video to make but I absolutely love how these pens came out, they will be for sale on my website soon so please check them and all the other things I make out here 🙂 www.jgwoodworking.co.uk/ EDIT. Oh if anyone knows what the saw is I use in the middle of the video to cut the strips I would be very grateful! I was given it in a very bad state and completely took it apart and restored it but there is no name on it what so ever so any information would be awesome! Thank you for watching 😁

These look amazing. I was looking at the tatjuba Cromer pens on your Etsy shop. Our local pier was also damaged in a storm a few years ago, but as far as I can tell the city just shredded and composted the wood. I would have liked to see something similar done with it, a group of woodworkers and turners could have made a small fortune (to help with rebuilding costs, of course).
