Scott Babb from libre is the real deal when it comes to bladed altercations. Origins in Fma, he developed his system for the western world with a real attitude and no fancy bullshit. Enjoy....

My problem with them(Libre) is not whether or not it works but how applicable it is for most people. If you are talking about training military personnel then okay. Anyone else needs to seriously think about what is being shown. People do tend to fight like they train. The videos I have seen from them are essentially teaching you how to engage and kill someone with a knife. The majority of it would not be considered self defense. It would be enough to land you in prison for a long time in just about any country on the planet. Without a doubt any state in the US. Surviving an attack by spending a decade or more behind bars while you and possibly your family is bankrupted isn't really what I consider "effective".
