Im glad you mentioned Shavkats "it" factor. I think he's one of those international fighters that builds his reputation as a stoic assassin, which has always been an interesting archetype. If he wins and gets through Belal, he has the opportunity to have a mystique similar to Poatan. Obviously a lot has to happen for that to come to fruition, but he definitely has the IT. Garry is definitely a live dog, but he gives his opponents a lot of bulletin board material as a typical heel. Shavkat won't be doing that, nor will he get caught up in the circus that follows the Irishman. Shavkat by decision, but winning in convincing fashion.

Shavkat will pressure him on the ground, same as he did with Wonderboy. He is not so stupid to stand with Garry and give him possibilities. His ground game is a lot better than Garry and that's what he is going after.

Am betting ian garry cuz times on his side plus there's better value if shavkat don't get garry out in the 1st 2 rounds I strongly believe garry will take over the fight he has better footwork and head movement plus he has the much better jab

It’s been circulating for a long time that Shavkat KOed Garry when they were training together. Also, a lot of shavkats submissions have been after he’s pummeled his opponents badly (prezeras, Neal). Expect him to do the same here. Ian is gonna fight like a total chicken

Shavkat knees, punches and kicks are heavy. Not the best technique but because of his frame and body structure, his srikes are heavier than most opponents in this division. He drains the nrj out of his opponents through heavy knes and wrestling control, they start making mistakes as they get tired, and then he submit them in zillion different ways. He's different in his own way, as are Pereira and Topuria. "destroyer"is the only term that come to my mind when I look at his fights. Ian Garry has like 20 % chances to win, to my opinion.

I got Ian. I think he will be good enough to stop takedowns and then use his striking to win by decision. He is so good and so fast. I don’t care what people say about him personally, I like to see what the fighters do inside the octagon. Shav is phenomenal too. Don’t get me wrong. I could definitely be wrong, but I got Ian.
