Enjoyed your video Alex... especially the Turkish DT 11...I'm sure it will be a good gun... But for my money the ATA SP PRO 12 Looks the Dogs for £1100 and have ordered one for the hell of it... Turkish guns are on a roll at the moment with rave reviews from owners who have shot 10s of thousands of Cartridges without any issues at all. ❤

Evening, glad you enjoyed the video thanks for your comment. Yes the ATA Pro 12 is doing well Tim Weston from the National Gamekeepers Organisation shoots one. You’re right they are on a roll at the minute! Let me know how you get on with the ATA

Hi I have a gun sale question, I bought a Blaser f3 with custom stock 18 months ago and have hardly use it where is the best place to sale it or trade it in for a cheaper gun for occasional use. Regards Paul.
@StrictlyShootingUK11 ай бұрын
Hiya Paul, Hmmmm custom stock hey, they can be tricky. Personally I’d probably encourage you to persevere. At least get shooting it a bit, people will be interested and maybe take it from there. You never know your local shop might be interested. People do like a Blaser. Send me some pics through on the Strictly Shooting Facebook page. Hope this helps Alex

Well thank you for the compliment - the truth is I’m not a rifleman . Shotguns are my thing so feel free to ask a shotgun question

Had the Lyalvale Masters email come through the other day I think. Myself and a few friends are eagerly awaiting the date for the Side By Side competition at AGL. Should be a fun day out if the weather is as good as it was the first time I did it.

Oh yeah, the Side by Side at AGL will be great. I really want to go to that! Normally sept. Yes get booked into the Lyalvale Masters. Might see you there!

I look forward to hearing more about the Turkish gun, do you think that it is a real challenger to the Beretta?
@StrictlyShootingUK11 ай бұрын
Well there is the argument that you could just buy a second hand one for this price… we will see. It’s a clone so.. yah. It’s gonna be interesting

Hi, I'm a little bit puzzeled here, it's not a Browning B725 and surely its not a Beretta DT11, what was it?
@StrictlyShootingUK11 ай бұрын
Hiya, so it was a browning 525 in the composite and the beretta DT11 alike was from a Turkish company called mid. kizlkayah

One key aspect to more people shooting Shotguns would be a proficient Police force able to meet demand in a fair manner without a fear for making any decision for themselves.

Nice to see a new gun, known as the Victory RT25 in OZ, need to know the steel quality and longevity say after 15K shots, regulation etc, for me I would not pay any more than a good 2nd hand DT10/MX8, yet to be proven and will be a Turkish when you re-sell.
@StrictlyShootingUK11 ай бұрын
Yeah, I think as long as they keep em fairly exclusive we should be fine. I mean it is basically a DT11 - let’s see, I’ll get it through its paces

Looked at one here in Australia about 2 years back very rough cut forcing cones at about 65mm long, chokes looked and came in the same box as a mobile version ATA 686 so at best it would have to consider it more closer to a Beretta ASE in comparison than the DT family . I made the comment to the distributor so maybe they've updated the forcing cones. If you had to put it along side the DT11 the overall finish is not the same, and as said it probably would not hold up in value as I don't believe it would offer the same free Beretta Australia 'forever service' anytime at certain locations and comps. Maybe a nice gun but still a clone.

Turkish guns are worthless when you want to PX, friend of mine bought a yilditz pro ( the parrazi knock off) grd 5 two years ago for £1950, its worth £350 now and cant sell it.
@StrictlyShootingUKАй бұрын
I know what you mean and I think that’s part of it but it’s a good gun still; did he have any trouble with it? They generally don’t give any gyp and overall he would have had just as cheap shooting with it than he would paying more for a Perazzi and getting more for a trade in. In fact I’m guessing he would have been at a greater financial loss if that were the case. Does this a) help and b) make sense?
