I played the hell out of Return of the King (PS2 and Gamecube). Hack and slash combat, combos, RPG-style leveling, faithful to the movie. Good stuff.

I loved Fellowship of the Ring on PS2, especially how it followed the book more closely than the movie did. The GBA version was a buggy piece of shit though, that deserves to be dropped in the Falls of Rauros...if not the fires of Orodruin.

OMF 2097 is probably still my favorite fighting game ever. Usually I don't enjoy them much, but between the music and the giant robots smashing each other to pieces, I have a lot of fond memories of that one.^^ Jazz had awesome music too, though. Nice, colorful art. So-so gameplay, to be honest.

This is seriously one of my top 3 favorite NES games. Nr1 "Super Mario 3", Nr 2 "Megaman 2", Nr 3 "Bucky O`Hare" Nr 4 Tetris and Nr 5 "Little Nemo: Nightmare in Dreamland". It was released close to the end of NES`s lifespan witch is why I think It`s such an overlooked NES clasic (1993 in Eu and 1992 in Japan). I love the music and different planets etc. It really creates a great atmosphere and world. The game is really hard, but at the same time completely fair. The game is made by Konami. It`s like Megaman 2 but made by Konami. Konami had a limit to how many games they could release every year in EU, so they used Palcom (owned by Konami) to relase Bucky O`Hare. I love the feeling of trial and error and overcoming obstacles by learning. It`s so satisfying whenever you progress

Chrono Trigger and FF3 were those games for me. So happy when I rented it again and my save was still there. I also remember renting those games and looking at other people's saves where they had all the best equipment and spells. It was fun just to load their save and feel super powerful

gosh I loved this game! I was the speed run champ of my class. I remember crafting a Bucky O'Hare back in primary school. the other girls didn't get it but I ended up crafting one for almost all boys XD If you grew up with this and Parodius and actually beating them, no game ever will mess with you :D

theres a lot of interesting stuff in this that you dont really see in other nes games, the lava physics were cool, the rolling bolder that you ride on was done cleverly since they couldnt rotate textures on the nes and pushable blocks were mostly in puzzle games and on a grid.
