Fun fact: Sunsoft was originally going to make T2 NES but LJN got the licence partway through development, Sunsoft then turned their existing game into a generic scifi-platformer in the vein of mega man or Metroid. It's also better than LJN's T2 game.

I had that last one, but for the Sega. Exact same game, but I was so hellbent on finishing it. I got to the mall stage, got to John Conners house, got to the hospital, but after many years, I never ever beat it. That driving stage is the most frustrating thing I've ever experienced within a game, and I actually got alright at it after a while, but still couldn't pass it in the later levels. It was ridiculous.

Had the T2 on Game Boy (not the arcade one), and I loved it as a kid. Yeah it was a bit hard to finish it with one life, but I enjoyed it. And the opening theme was pretty good as well. For me one of the few decent games of LJN

The game actually takes away your weapons because you have to jump at the T-1000 to make him fall into the lava 11:23 the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version driving controls is a bit easier than the SNES one. Hostile drivers won't spawn if you match the speed of the regular vehicles.

Love going back and rewatching these from time to time (thanks KZbin recommended) , still remember binge watching all the AVGN episodes monthly back before the 100th episode was even conceived.

One thing I can say about Terminator 2 on NES, the death screen looks neat.
