Have always loved this song. It has such power behind it along with a great melody. No one beats Elvis for those surprise passionate, powerful, performances he does. Especially if someone hasn’t heard the song before. Then they’re really surprised. Thanks James. I’m so happy you continue to react to Elvis. Great track from the King (listen to his range) and fab reaction James! Elvis did do a very funny 'naughty' version of this by the way which creases me up! Try and track it down (something he did in the fountain, lol!) By the way, check out 'Trying to get to you' from his 1977 concert. His voice on this is INCREDIBLE! He was of course very poorly at this time, but his voice NEVER failed him. Powerhouse!

Hey James.....love all your Elvis reaction videos!! I grew up listening to Elvis and remember some of his live tv appearances when I was a teenager. Please take a listen to "It's Midnight*!! It's a great song that I think you will like. It's sad that in one clip he says *listen Cilla* while singing, for Priscilla to know how he was feeling without her at that time.

Some of the best Elvis performances are from his 1970 Las Vegas Live Concert & there are also some great songs in his Aloha from Hawaii 1973 Live Concert …. Steam Roller Blues & Fever are both great ones in that Hawaii 1973 concert. Suspicious Minds is a great one with lots of great Elvis dancing in his 1970 Las Vegas Live Concert …. Bridge Over Troubled Water from that 1970 Las Vegas concert is the Best performance of it (I see you have done it from another concert) ….. Let’s Pretend & You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling from 1970 Las Vegas live concert are really great performances, & the best performance of Polk Salad Annie is also in the 1970 Las Vegas live concert. Las Vegas was a very prestigious place to perform, & The Showroom, where Elvis always performed, is the Most Prestigious, so those1970 performances are the best & Elvis is in top form, physically & emotionally ….. In The Ghetto is also another great song with a message in one of his 1970 Las Vegas live concerts. Also, Elvis Rehearsals are always great, & us fans love seeing them …. & Elvis Funny Moments are another great draw for your Elvis subscribers & there are a number to choose from.

I've always thought this song was special. His voice is exceptional. The instrumentation is right in sync with his voice. Love the trumpets responding. Charlie Hodge is accompanying him vocally with that high tenor. This song is worlds away from "Ready Teddy."
