Agatha Christie's Case of the Blue Jumper. Starring James Robinson as Hercule Poirot 😂

I play at Delamere Forest. Usually a fourball plays it in 3.5 hours and it’s quite hilly. BTW we are on sand. We were shut for 3 days because of snow this winter. No temporary tees or greens. Playing full distance. We are so blessed as members. Thank you Greenkeeping staff. Top guys!

Love this series James and the championing of cheaper golf. Reckon you should have an 18hole special with you, Chris, Gaz and Bobby. One with full set of Takomos, one with second-hand fullset of clubs (budget $800), one with Kirkland fullset and Gaz with his fullset of PXGs. Who would come out on top? 😉

Love this challenge about championing cheaper/used golf clubs too and love and use Wilson clubs as well …yes I’m old and a long time Wilson user. But, isn’t it a bit incongruous taking the cheaper clubs out of a back of a Ferrari? Just saying or am I missing something?

Glenn, I think JR works his nuts off. Content day in day out, always quality. I was just discussing him and his possible workload. Travel travel travel and still has the time to plan content and then it has to be arranged. He deserves to travel in style and get pleasure from the hard parts of the job. I was a bit mischievous “spotting” the Lusso. Not many would have noticed. He probably thought during the edit that such a tiny amount of car wouldn’t be identified. I’m delighted for him and not envious. Well done James. In his next content he did mention that he’s wasted a lot of money on his weakness, cars. Good luck mate. We are only here once.

You guys have a great course. When I visit from Australia I often play a lot of local tracks there. The Belfry was a great experience for me. I went for a wedding at the Mere in Cheshire and the course looks great. Didn’t play there though. Have played few in London and played a course in Liverpool. I love playing in the UK. Only had one bad experience in Leicester where the guy in the pro shop wasn’t interested! I told him to change his attitude and he should be promoting the course and game as I walked out! That was well over 20 years ago! I think in UK you are lucky to have great courses and thanks for showing the ones we should play.

Three hours and thirty minutes for four players is what it should take and it can be done without rushing anything. All it takes is for people to use their heads... They don't have to all walk from one ball to the next one for instance. If each player go to their ball and decide what club to use and where to hit to once they reach their ball you save atleast half an hour, perhaps more if you skip the practise swings on every shot they take. I mean if they need five practise swings for the swing to feel right, then they should take four more before they hit... And as you said, put your bag in the correct place around the green and count your shots on the next tee instead of standing on the green counting holding the next group up.

Great round James. I was surprised that the new pins to match the smart new flags weren’t the thin ones at the bottom. If they were then your putt would have probably stayed in. When you initially found that jumper I thought that it was the one you took off😂

Unfortunately 5 hours in my area is kinda normal. And when I'm with friends I don't mind the wait. But playing by myself on an open course (usually if I am on my own it's when it's 100 degrees F, roughly 38 C at 2 pm) I can play a full 18 in 2:30.

We call them a sweater or a quarter zip! We are weird in Canada! We play spring golf wearing toques! Look that one up!!

As a marshal for over 13 year, I have seen everything on a course. I work every other Saturday in a party city, New Orleans, & get a lot of bachlor parties with many being hungover from the night before. Most rounds should be played in 4 hours & there are rabbits & turtles. I ride the course & have the cart numbers on my tee sheet to see how on pace a group is playing. Unfortunately with the Covid pandemic many started playing golf but never bothered to learn golf etiquette.
