This has been a great series but think about using a split screen to leave your printed material up longer for people to read or for items for people to look at.

Thank you so much for answering my questions, so here I go again. Have you considered working with the wonderful, amazing, delightful Dr. Henry Gates, Jr. Of Finding Your Roots to locate descendants of the artists about those artifacts or journals, letters they may still have. I think that would make a great combined TV show for PBS or Discover. (PS... I'm an old lady, not a he 😉) AND thank you for when you got back to me via email about how to locate something on my great grandfather's farm. You people are simply wonderful!

Thank you for answering our questions. It shows a depth and love of your job that goes beyond just archeology. I’ve another question; What is the ultimate goal of your research at Jamestown, perhaps there’s more than one goal? Will Jamestown always be an archeological dig, or will it become a living history type museum? Mary

Mary, while not a National Park official I can tell you there is a Jamestown living history museum. Its called "Jamestown Settlement" and is located adjacent to the Jamestown National Park but a separate organization. Please come to Virginia and check it all out.

I noticed I. The older videos that the computer systems were quite old. Do you struggle with keeping your inventory systems up to date without losing data?

How could there be a "Staving time" by the 1st settlement when there was so much fish and other seafood available?
