@@unclekarl5219 that's not the reason i don't like his character. we're supposed to hate a lot of characters in the show but hes the only one where the dialogue or even the acting is just lame for lack of a better word. Makes it even harder to believe any attraction sofia has towards him regardless if it's just sexual.

He doesn’t possess the same larger than life nature that people like Sofia and Oz do but that’s replaced with quiet manipulation. I get where you’re coming from and obviously your opinion is yours. But it’s clearly intentional writing to make him the way he is

Legend John Turturro played Carmine Falcone in the movie. He was approached to reprise his role for the show but after reading the script he decided to turn it down because he didn't wanna play Carmine again because of all the violence against women

They do such a good job of making you root for her. Like she killed her whole family yeah but they all set her up and framed her as a serial killer. I had a feeling there would be complications with her character but I was surprised by the amount of people that genuinely thought she was the hangman off the bat. It seemed too easy

Magpie is a jewelry thief that steals things that are bird related and replaces them with explosive replicas. She’s not Harley. She was also Poison Ivy’s cell mate in Arkham in the comics. It’s also seems that Sophia’s therapist is going to be Scarecrow.

When I thought back on this episode after I finished the season, I thought it was all just her in the asylum. I guess I just assumed the 1st and 3rd thirds of this episodes took place in other episodes. It's wild how dense the writing is in great shows. They filled 3 hours of story telling in just under an hour.

Love the Harley theories but Magpie and the Hangman are Batman villains. Which is great because we haven't had many female Batman villains be depicted and these two, Sofia in particular, are done exceedingly well.

nah it would be crazy or cool if she was harley quinn- Harleen Quinzel Dr, at Arkham. It would be kinda sad. Sophia also exists in the comics along with magpie. Harley Quinn is also very played out at this point. She doesn't need to be in everything when there are dozens of other characters with more depth to adapt. This character though drastically different than the comics is way more interesting than harley has ever been post origin story.

Honestly the one thing about the show that doesn't work for me is the character of Dr Rush payed by Theo Rossi. He honestly feels very poorly incorporated and his character feels more like a glorified background extra who stays on camera too long. When I finished the show I didn't know what the point of the character was.

The character didn’t work for me either but I understand it. I think they wanted to fill the show with a circle of morally corrupt villains. It’s a play on the many different shades of evil. From Victor, to Sophia, to Dr. Rush and up to Oz. Everybody is crazy and self serving. It’s a show where every character is a villain. His is just the only one that’s off

I found this series to be a mirror image of batman. Penguin is Batman, Vic is Robin. Sophia and Dr Rush are Joker and Harley. His mom is similar to alfred. but of course this is a mirror and all roles are reversed and stories. Just my little theory

Sophia was the best character and actor on the show. As good as Colin Farrell is as Penguin, it’s pretty much Tony Soprano and his mommy issues, all over again. Only way I’ll watch season two is if they somehow bring Sophia back.
