Season 2 is the most polarizing season of the show due to how different it feels compared to season 1. Especially when it comes to pacing. But I have a strong feeling James will really click with this season. One of the most creatively ambitious and narratively dense seasons of tv ever made. Out of all the seasons in the show, season 2 is the one where you can keep noticing new details on each re-watch. It's honestly the best season of the show imo.

I'm so glad other person has the same opinion. Season 2 is my fav. It's where Mr. Robot became its own thing, it has so many memorable scenes, and it's packed with so much interesting stuff. The plot only thickens and thickens, making it possible for season 3 and 4 to liberate all that tension and give the pay offs. It's Sam Esmail's favorite season too, so we're in the right here 😁

6:41 the first time I saw this I hadn't listened to Joey, but 1999 is one of my favorite albums. He introduced me to Capital STEEZ and MF DOOM, two of my favorite musicians (DOOM introduced me to Madlib and Madlib introduced me to Freddie Gibbs). So in a way half of my favorite musicians stem from this show. RIP both DOOM and STEELO.

This really is one of my favorite series. I have a hard time rewatching it because it gets really heavy at times. The cool things about reactions are that you get to watch something again for the first time through someone else's eyes. Keep up the good work, James.

My favorite show of all time and my favorite artist of all time. Joey Bada$$ is my personal goat, 1999 is my top 3 album all time, and I think his message, lyrics, flow, and just overall creativity in music is one of a kind. Just like Mr Robot shines in its soundtrack, cinematography, and it's own flare. 🐐🐐

Him as a filmmaker and being have a good eyes for the cinema, I wish him someday to react one particular, very artistic and one of a kind anime, titled "Nichijou". I don't know if he watched any anime but if him or anyone asks "what an anime noob should watch", most people would answer something like AoT especially for the first timers, which is a story-driven, high-octane, kind of a Hollywood action with plus sides as having very talented Japanese voice actors and less censorship: Sure it is an easy call for starters, something similiar to what they are already watching on daily basis, so they won't feel out of place. But those people are not filmmakers and does not have eyes to compare both medium in terms of technicality and cinematography etc. And that is why I wished to see "Nichijou" reaction from the eyes of a filmmaker before watching any other title from anime.

mr robot peaked somewhere in between the first 2 seasons imo. the later seasons had standout episodes (like 305 or 407), but were much weaker narratively

@@gurulimbo Some creators have it set up through their patreon that people have early access to the youtube edited version (full length reactions are usually hosted elsewhere). So they upload it to youtube, the patreon people get early access through a link, and then later they'll make it freely available to everyone. If you ever watch The Normies, they do the same thing.
