Started going Shelly's in late 1990 & never looked back! As soon as those amnesia nights hit on a Saturday my life was complete. Mental nights but on the odd occasion we would drive to Coventry & go an all nighter at the eclipse on a friday. And if that wasnt enough stoke also had entropy on a friday night or delight at shellys for the house/piano heads. I went to the first new age event at the eclipse & that was the best night out ive ever had with book of love a close second. These days are that precious to me im in tears writing this. Thats how deep this shit runs. What a time to be alive & 18!!

Good work, nice doc. Brings back a lot of memories. Plenty of genuine personality and sincerity captured from Bam, Nev, Jeff, and others. Thought the Amnesia venue that was pre Eclipse might have got a mention (or missed it) Think it was some sort of community centre. Remember it well, had a fuckin cracking intensity to it. My mate played the night Doc Scott played his first Amnesia. Anyone remember it? Also thought Eclipse would have featured. Played at Eclipse loads myself, mostly for Energy. Fucking great nights. I tell young promoters I know now, there used to be parties in Coventry that used to get shit loads of Londoners, and people from as far as Glasgow to Coventry on a Friday night. Doesn’t make sense, still doesn’t to me, but it’s true. Good work. Gonna watch it again now.

The film is to focus on the illegal stuff from 1988 to early 1990 pre connexion. The next film will focus on Connexion, Eclipse etc like you have mentioned.

I was the original DJ at Tally Ho & Reflections, when u started on the door I was already playing Chicago and NY house from 86/87 and loved the build up to the raves with everyone turning up at Tally Ho to get the address at the last minute. What a buzz, what a rush, what a time to live and let live BGB RLF

jam-AV media production Exactly which venue played this so called "Rugby" rave. I have family and friends in Rugby. No one recalls this event nor knows of any venue big enough at this time that could house fifteen hundred let alone 10K! Pray do tell
