First of all, being married and knowing what the book entails let's you know it's Erotic Love Story, which his wife should of said No, since we see she is the Boss in that marriage, I'm guessing the money was a main factor and that was the outcome to the agreement, with Jamie, it's obvious there were issues in his marriage before the offer was given. He read the book and the character intrigued him, he was a lil of himself in the character he wanted to portray as he mentioned. All these things needed to be put in place before you make a tape to send in as part of the audition process. He probably was an opportunity to become noticed in the industry. All that is cool as long as you know that there might be some sort of attraction and possibly feelings come into play making these 3 lives especially passionate love story with plenty of intimacy. There is common sense that it could jeopardize your relationship at home, there not 18 or 19 going into it blindly, as they said in interviews they knew what they signed up for, they weren't blindsided. Now Dakota is young, free spirited, and was a part of herself in the character and was intrigued by some similarities she and Ana had in common, and had nothing to lose, she was the strength And would have, and she is all about encouraging woman to be strong and stand up for themselves,because she comes from strong woman in her family as she mentioned, I get why she did it. They were awkward at first because they had to get to know one another, now with her easy personality, always joking, here comes Jamie who admired her qualities and is quick humored himself, this was the beginning of their attraction, besides the fact they both GORGEOUS. Imagine how good he felt making her laugh all the time, that ignites interest in a man, she allow s you to be yourself, funny, easy going, built trust and respect, looking forward to going to work, possibly each ping the unhappy marriage at home. They didn't intentionally call for each other and let's face it as adults you know when your attracted to someone, it doesn't take years, you know when that person invades your thoughts of when you lay your head down on that pillow and that is the face that's in your thoughts in your quiet time. Now as for Amelia there isn't a doubt in my mind she hasn't read the books or you tubes it, she is supposedly a brilliant woman he claims, it's a publicity stunt that she didn't read the books, if your husband is making a live with a younger, woman who by the way is very pretty with a younger body, Any Woman is going to read or see the movies, that's as far fetched and untrue as Jamie's statement that they have a brother and sister relationship, please another lie to throw in the mix to throw off the Obvious. Amelia wouldn't have hated Dakota as she did and made their first premiere in Berlin a disaster, and brought the attention to their troubled marriage. The bottom line is Jamie wasn't happy in his marriage and let Dakota in it be was happy at home. His OR people wouldn't have to tell him and his wife to hug and kiss, or have to tell him what to say about his wife, where he is reading it off the teleprompter, that should be natural, instead they made him mention her too many times and she was at too many premieres and events, more than any other wife, even in the studio lots of the time, it's like having his MOMMY babysitting him, she clearly has serious issues, how can anyone live under a MICROSCOPE like that and be happy, she treats him like a lap dog her possession, not her equal. Not a good look for Jamie, makes him look Weak. And I am sure in becoming friends with Dakota she saw how miserable he was at times and he probably confided in her . So I do believe their friendship blossomed and their beautiful love story became real and their chemistry took a turn to a different level and their kisses became real and body language changed and the eye contact were softer and more gentle. The eyes are the windows to your soul, you can't fake it. I love them together, I felt he met his match in Dakota and I believe his children is what keeps him in that marriage, he sacrificed his love for Dakota to be in his children's life, I get that, but I believe he regrets letting Dakota go because now she's in a serious relationship and someone else has what he could of. He will always have a special place in his heart where Dakota resides in, so I wish them both happiness in their personal lives.

Gia Grey I agree with everything you've said. You really laid it all out throughly. I know that Jamie's mother died when he was a young boy so perhaps that is why he tolerates bossy Amelia. Even though they're the same age he probably sees her as a mother figure. I really think he fell for Dakota first. During the promotion for Freed in Paris, you could see the sadness in Jamie's eyes when he was looking at Dakota. He would smile at Dakota then the sadness would show in his eyes probably because he was realizing that he was probably losing Dakota for good. I wish he would finally admit his true feelings before it is really too late for him and Dakota to finally be a real couple.Their chemistry on and off screen is undeniable.

I totally agree with both of you. All I wish is for him to realize and change his mind hes losing Dakota and if he doesnt act quick then he will lose her forever. sometimes ppl choose to be with their children like jamie for instance but when children grow and become older that is when ppl realize throwing away their happiness wasnt the right choice because no matter how Hard you try to stay in a broken marriage at the end you will end up miserable and I definitely see thats whats going to happen with him.

Brenda Hatcher, there are two separate video's of Dakota and Jamie at the Paris Freed premier. One is on stage with all the actors of Freed, DJ in her beautiful white dress and the other at a table with Jamie at an interview with "C" paris tv. Dakota signed Jamie "I Love You". So being the nosy person I am I googled how to say "I love you" in sign language. There are 4 ways to do that. Dakota used 2 of those signs to Jamie. Look it up on those video's and then google the sign language for I Love You.So I am thinking she is still in that mind set. You don't have that connection and emotion that quick that went rapid wild fire with them and then just let it go. As for Chris Martin, I still think it's PR because there is NO feelings in her eyes when they are together. Also CM and Dakota have the same PR people. I really think that Jamie is only truly happy with Dakota and she with him. Only time can tell how this plays out but couples separate all the time. It happens and I feel fairly certain that was never their intention when the movies started but you know what, the heart doesn't lie, it wants what it wants.

Don't know why you'd be bashing Dakota She played her part and very well I might add, so her and Jamie became close no big surprise there they worked together for a long time and on a sexual movie You need to go back and take a good look at Jamie with Dakota and then with his wife, much more relaxed and familiar with Dakota, she's a sweet and funny person, great personality so I could see where someone might fall for her. His wife had issues so does that mean she really doesn't trust him?? At least he admits that this movie made people ( Hollywood ) pay attention to him You have to respect Dakota because when she knew that their friendship was causing him problems with his wife, she backed off so his wife would be happier, his wife snubbed Dakota when Dakota went to hug her and she stood like a statue. I believe that his children are his main reason for staying in his marriage so one can't put it all on one person, he cares for Dakota and vise versa, leave it alone already they did what needed to be done

Beautiful music and video Yes JAMIE LOVES DAKOTA but he is not IN LOVE with her. JAMIE IS IN LOVE WITH HIS WIFE AMELIA. There is a difference he loves and respects Dakota and they became close because of his protection for her and because of her trust in him. What they had to do was hard and he was married.
