I actually love how you brought up a GREAT point that I've never heard anyone in the fanndom or a reactor in years ever mention, is Murray's growth and his respect and true love for Hopper and Joyce as friends at this point risking his life for them like you said. It's great.

Eleven's mother seemed to have a bit of a psychic gift of her own - eg sensing Eleven when she remote-viewed her. So I think Eleven has both inherited and replicated ability (which might explain why she was so strong at 9).

Fun fact: The showrunners once said that they have all the rules of the upside down and it's creatures worked out. But they won't just tell us. We are supposed to learn them at the same time the characters do. And sometimes, the party get's it wrong, because they don't have all the information. What this means is that whatever you think you know, might be wrong.

I believe this is how you write a series. You have to know from day 1 how it's gonna finish and most of that's between, so you can plant seeds season by season and those who watch will make sense of them just when the writers want. Alas, so many other series are written on a season-by-season basis, just to make it last as much as possible, so plot and characters often take absurd twists.

so it's basically confirmed el knew how to talk properly before the 'incident' but after losing her memories etc. she had to re-learn to talk which is why she could say more back then and why her vocabulary wasn't as good compared to other's in the lab we've seen

Do you remember what Kali (008) was trying to teach Jane (011) when they met? Hate and anger. Then in El's "memories" we see "the orderly" character telling Eleven about 001 and how he "figured out" the secret to his powers and told Eleven to focus on things that made her sad and angry. I believe those are the emotions that Henry/001/Vecna feeds upon. And yes, it's an 80s trope of "love conquers all."
@rfresa3 ай бұрын
I think it was both Henry/001 and Eleven who opened the first gate. Her trying to get rid of him, and him trying to escape. Yes, she used positive emotions to overpower and defeat him! If you recall, 008/Kali also told Eleven to use negative emotions, so Henry must have tried to manipulate her the same way, but she just escaped on her own without offering to help him in return.

I think Henry was broken early and didn’t quite recover. While he did show signs like helping 8 and 11 escape, he still was quite disturbed and violent. Sad turn of events for him considering he had a loving family compared to 11 who lost her mom quite early in a sense, and doesn’t know her father.

I think there's only ever been 1 or 2 survivors, without the treatment. Once you see symptoms, it's too late. That is why the treatment is given immediately , on suspected exposure.

Yes and I think Bats are like number 1 or 2 on the list for having rabies I think foxes are number 1 then bats followed by racoons but I am not.surr on the order but i know bats are up there and it is not that uncommon we had a raccoon about 20 minute from my house and I live in the suburban area of the city but 20 minutes out is a bit more hill country, but they found a rabid raccoon that they had to kill to test cuz that is the only way to do it so someone must have reported it acting weird or bit someone for them to go out and test the animal but it was positive for rabies.

@@TheRepublican777 Ground hogs are also virulent carriers. They can pick up rabies just from moving into a burrow that was previously occupied by an infected animal. But they aren't regarded as particularly dangerous because they just don't interact with people often.

Im sorry but i think Brenner is the real MONSTER. not even young Henry is worse than him, evil is made and he raised Henry to be that way. It's no coincidence that he started seeing a "professional (Papa)" like his parents arranged.. & Henry then developed his powers, once moving to Hawkins and then he develops his powers in the same way Brenner tried teaching El in s1. Training by using their powers to crush small trapped animals (cat in the cage in s1 and bunny tied to trap this season) Henry truly did feel for El and saw himself in her, i do believe that. Hence why he wanted her to join him & saw her as superior. Henry also points out that he was about to be sent away by his mother, doesnt excuse what he did but does explain him turning and becoming desperate enough to avoid being given to Dr Brenner PERMANENTLY. Papa literally caged and tortured him most of his life then made him a helper to kids that came from him pretty much. Can't help but feel for that boy and love villians who aren't simply evil and have somewhat traumatic past or vunerable caring side like other vilians & anti heroes i enjoy/love. However, yes i knew from day one that El wasn't capable of killing those kids. Didn't doubt her for a second, she couldn't even kill a cat. Notice how Henry also, didn't or couldn't kill Papa that day, showing the sick hold/influences he had on all of them. Raised as lab rats, Henry spent the most time with Papa.

Isn't El like 9 in here when she fights Henry, sorry but it's so unrealistic that she won against him.
@Pernicion3 ай бұрын
I believe she's 7 in 1979, when she fights 001. It's a show about psychic sorcerers having mind battles, and you're concerned with realism. Everyone knows little girls are pathetic and weak and shouldn't be taken seriously in a fight against a boy, right? If this show was shot in the 80s, instead of just being an homage to the 80s, 011's character would be a little boy, and you'd have nothing to complain about.
