Sometimes when speaking of 50 Shades, Jamie annoys the hell out of me. It is so obvious that he hates these movies. But seriously you can't tell me he did not know what he was getting himself into when he accepted this role and it is not only middle-aged,thursty women that watched that movie. This is just so cliche. I am 23,and I watched the movie and I liked it,just because I want to and I can. Why be embarrass of a role choice..I dont get it. He should have never accepted the role in the first place then.

flerie Apparently in an interview I heard (not sure where), Jamie himself said he only auditioned for 50 Shades as a joke, he didn't think he'd actually get the part. But after Charlie (Hunham?) quit, fate dealt Jamie the cards for this massive role, so I don't think he truly wanted it, just wanted to mess around with auditioning. Maybe the money kept him around? Idk. I still adore Jamie tho. ❤️

flerie Have to disagree. I don't think he's ashamed of them or embarrassed based on what I've heard him say, & he shouldn't be! He did a great job! I think he's still a little shy at times, & it truly has to be pretty overwhelming to always be in the spotlight, & I think he said he had gotten some pretty weird fan mail/stuff that made him feel uncomfortable. I mean, think about it-can you imagine doing some of those scenes, or doing them & coming home to a wife you love, a toddler daughter, & a new little baby girl? And yes, he's been a model & used his physique, as someone said, but not like he did in these movies!!! There are always women (& some men!) actually asking him to marry them, wishing he & Amelia get a divorce, etc. I'm sure he never really expected that, or some if the other extremes. I think he did a great job, he's proud of it, but he seems like maybe he's wanting to move to new projects/his other work now. Someone asked him & Dakota if there were two additional movies later on, would they be up for it, & they both said yes, absolutely, so we can only hope!
