When word got out that Robby Benson had a heart defect, he heard it on TV, turned to his wife, and said, "My career is over." He was right - as far as acting in movies. Movie production insurers will not take the risk. This was in the 1970s. Seems like it hasn't changed. Don't disclose it. Be grateful, keep smiling AND take a true sabbatical.
