Jamie’s Arrows pedal is very close to a Klon but with only one knob…. Now to get Jamie to build a heavy duty Wah like the 535Q but more amp like and less sterile. Who would not want an “amp” sounding gutsy Wah that can be tuned to your liking….. like all Earthquaker Devices do so well!!! Come on man…. You have done it all…. Earthquaker Wah

Massive respect to Jamie for owning a bootleg Klon and rocking it on his main board even though he's perfectly capable of building his own.

Jamie definitely has the most exciting board I've ever seen on the show . So many people have stuff that just works in the safe zone, but this guy is not afraid to get down and dirty with his effects. Much respect.

That may be due to the fact that many of the guests are gigging musicians that play in more straight-ahead bands. It is a dope board though!

Jamie is an absolute riffchad toanloard and makes some of my favorite pedals. I have a bunch of eqd stuff on my board but my favorites are the warden compressor, spatial delivery, hizumitas, and hummingbird. I play bass mostly and I like that he designs most of his pedals to work equally well guitar and bass.

Jamie has a very Tony Iommi-esque thing to his playing which is, as anyone knows who has actually tried to go that path, something you either have in you or you don't. I like the fact that he's winging his sounds and he's up front with that, not trying to act like he has a clear picture of some exact thing in his head or on his board. He seems to enjoy the adventure of sound as much or more than the sounds themselves. It's not wasted on me that that approach is good for a pedal manufacturer that wants to sell more pedals to people who, guess what, are also not sure exactly what they are after lol. Still, it's cool that he's comfy in his skin enough to sustain that childlike quality everybody needs more of. I really enjoyed when he brought up Ed Van Halen then quickly shifted to Steve Stevens. We all know Steve was the first guy after Eddie that took us like ''Whaaaa?'' and that cat is still out there laying it down hard. Steve's the Fuh kin man. That ray gun was the drill and (Panama) hair dryer before all those even happened.

The Swiss has one major defect: the loops aren't assignable to each of the 2 outputs. It would be great to exclude one loop or add one to an output. That way, switching outputs will turn off of turn on a loop. Each out should have assign A/B options. You can change amps but still have to stomp a loop off. Not good. I would still own it if it had those options. The inboard Boost was great...everything sturdy but...
