Jamie T - Emily's Heart

I remember seeing Jamie T live in Birmingham when he first came back onto the scene in 2014/15. Watched him with my best friend at the time and met a girl in the crowd who I hit it off with over our mutual love for this song and we ended up dancing with each other for pretty much the entire night. When it came to the end of the performance, Jamie came back onto the stage alone with just his guitar and played a couple of acoustic renditions before asking the crowd for suggestions as to which song he should end the night on. Suffice to say, me and the girl plus a few folk around us started collectively screaming our heads off for Emily's Heart which he hadn't played all night and Jamie looked straight at us and said "Emily's Heart it is". He then played the most beautiful rendition of this song that I have ever heard and had the entire venue singing along with him. A beautiful way to end the night and it's a memory I shall treasure forever. I have unfortunately since lost contact with both the girl I met on that night and the best friend I bought along with but if either of you ever read this comment, just know that I'll always remember that night as something truly special!

The more you listen to this guys music the better it becomes, it is true poetry lyrically and musically. He doesn't appear regularly with new material but better this calibre of song than mediocre shite every other year. Long may it continue

@zukkiechan not sure but i think thats the good thing about songs you can sort o come up with different things i think let this Emily girl down who was probs his gf or friend and the video could mean he feels a bit like a little boy for what he's done also he give's her something at the end which could mean he is asking for forgiveness but they just laugh meaning its to late
