I get the impression Vardy is exactly the same guy in real life as we see on the TV screens in interviews etc. Seems like a genuine guy.

Unless Jamie and his dad were parachuted into senior management positions at the factory in Sheffield (a very working class city), then they are obviously working class, not middle class. As always with this channel, this is a good video. But the topic definitely would be better served in a longer form documentary... For Vardy to go from a 24 year old factory worker to Premier Leauge champion, is truly incredible. And with all due respect, to do that with Leicester (of all teams!) and in a period of just 6 years, makes Vardy's story seem like even more of a fantasy. Add to that incredible accomplishment that Vardy also represented England at major international tournaments, then all things considered, it truly could be the greatest sports story ever told. I have to give Vady credit also for remaining with Leicester. We live in an era of footballing mercenaries, where loyalty means nothing, and players routinely prioritise salary and endorsements over legacy and glory... Vardy had many opportunities to leave Leicester and earn more money at "bigger" and more prestigious clubs where winning additional trophies was more likely and he would've had greater celebrity status. But he chose to stay loyal to the club that demonstrated loyalty and belief in him - that is arguably Vardy's greatest accomplishment. I'm really looking forward to seeing Leicester and Vardy back in the PL next season. Although we know there's a good chance it will all end in tears! 😢

Great video. However Jamie Vardys background is what you would call working class, not middle class. I look forward to your next video anyway. Keep up the good work

working class is the politically correct name for a commoner

@josmith9662 Labelling someone with a potentially pejorative term, based on nothing but some superficial assessment of their socio-economic status, isn't politically correct anyway, whether the label applied consists of "commoner" or "working class." We need a hell of a lot of commoners to fuel and service the economy, which would immediately and catastrophically collapse without ordinary folk such as you, me and Mr Vardy 😂
