Though musically this might not be the best reinterpretation Matthew Herbert did, he does manage to one-up the whole idea of the song. Where Jamie XX left the 'loud places' described in the love-story to our imagination, Matthew Herbert manages to build up to them in a way that doesn't harm the lyrics. But maybe I'm searching for things that aren't there.
