Hmmm, Miss Jamie, you might want to consider your usage of essential oils. I've work with essential oils during my PhD study and I should tell you that essential oils are basically a fragrance component in skincare product and also an irritant to the human skin. Some very common misconceptions in skin care are that "natural ingredient are good for the skin" and "chemicals are bad for the skin". For example, cyanide is also a natural product and yet highly toxic while water is a chemical compound and yet we drink them everyday. Essential oils are a composite mixture which comprises of a great variety of chemical compounds produced by plants, some which is highly toxic. So I strongly suggest you to stop using essential oil, especially in your DIY serum.
