@@akoj3262 i know but its so ironic that they preserve the manchu style..... so ironic. long story short china-japan-korea is the trio of ancient agriculture. manchu the closest relative to korean are nomadic..... so its not part of the trio culture. if anything korea should probably copied the manchu qing dynasty style since its their cousin and their roots before korea copied from china. but ironically now manchu culture is seen as chinese culture..... its like Vikings culture seen as greek culture... ;0 the irony is strong. to the point the greek preserving viking culture..........

@@andrewflex9 The older batch of Pioneer English are more English speaking due to people work for the British or with the British. Singapore is a very diverse countries with many race and culture. That's why many Korean do case studies on Singaporean and it country for years and why their success that's why they starting to have a lot of fusion of food etc following the footsteps of Singapore and more open now compare to the 90s. It's isn't that hard to understand actually. It's whether you want to know what's he speaking.🤣 And he isn't really Speaking Singlish which consists of a whole bunch of different languages and dialect. If the accent you can't figure out than you still a long way in understand Singapore language. But if you don't give up😊💪 You will understand it better eventually

My point was actually to the Singaporean accent in general, not to this young man. I can understand his accent 90% and the rest of it confused with some of the words he's saying. I went to Singapore one time and I kinda struggle communicating with the locals to their accent being a bit difficult to comprehend, but I love Singaporean cuisine for sure. I'm sure will be back soon after this pandemic end

Yes, the older generation during Lee Kuan Yew time/era have their younger generation more grounded and embody the meaning of the national anthem. Not the current Prs convert to Singaporean throws all the value Singapore forefathers work so hard for down the drain. Try asking them about Lim Nee Soon and Tan Tock Seng. *Shake head* Singaporean whose parents are above 50 and above tends to have kids/children like this more humble and respect the elders
