SuzuRyderHD Most of us don't actually like most American cars, not bashing them all at all but they tend to be massive with large engines and poor interiors. Our roads are tight and with our fuel prices being WAY higher than the U.S they just have no purpose, a van would be so much more practical and cheaper in everyway.

We have a lot of trucks just not many like ram or the f sieries

Ze Germanz They may not be practical in the U.K. but they are very practical here in the states. There's a lot more things we need trucks for that vans can't do. We have big campers and boats that a van will not be able to tow. Hauling large items in the bed is very convenient. Then there's construction and trucks hold up much better than a van.

Ryder21 mainly in our country all you see is mini cars, and the trucks that are on uk and Europe markets are like mini trucks compared to Us trucks. I have a misubishi l200 2018, and that’s like a mini truck (sort of) to Us trucks.

Dean Grimsell Haha American cars suck most people in the us prefer japanese cars
@dean8067
@dean8067 7 жыл бұрын
roy vazquez Not from what I've heard, in the US their domestic cars by far outsell all imported cars combined. Apart from that I've owned 3 different American cars in a row now aswell as having family who owns them. They are extremely reliable, cheap to maintain and so far been a blast to drive and own for me. So I think I'd know whether they "suck" or not. This constant hate towards car manufacturers apart from those that people are biast towards on the Internet is getting a little old.

@dean8067
@dean8067 7 жыл бұрын
roy vazquez I've mentioned before, I live in south Africa. And I honestly don't care if you're the president. I've seen statistics involving the sales of different car manufacturers in the US, they outsell the imports like I said earlier meaning the majority clearly don't agree with what you're saying. Even outside of the US, Ford and Chevrolet are all in the top ranks concerning sales :)
@royvazquez5892
@royvazquez5892 7 жыл бұрын
Dean Grimsell they outsell imports because they are more of them available. true car enthusiasts prefer foreign car with the exception of high performance domestics and trucks. regular domestic sedans tend to break down easily. trust me my family has both imports and domestics

Diamler-Benz bought a BIG share of Chrysler in 1998 and sold most of it in 2006. This is the BEST year for this truck. I bought one new in 2004. A Ram 1500 5.7L crew cab. Still runs awesome. I have a fiberglass tonneau cover on mine painted the same color as my truck same as the one in the video. The dealership put it on as part of my package.

The “Door Ajar” light is actually quite useful. For example if you’ve had passengers or family who’ve gone in and out of your vehicle and they don’t probably close the door leaving it improperly latched, that light along with a warning chime will alert you if you start driving that one of your doors isn’t secure. Now that ram being an older model, I’m not sure if all four doors are tied into the indicator, but the front two should. Silly as it may be it could very well save your ass lol.

I've got the 2009 Big Horn edition. You can see it in my profile picture. I absolutely love the HEMI and it is a monster on the road. It can perform as well as a diesel towing loads as well. The gas mileage is pretty shitty but love hearing those bald eagles scream!

A Cummins would be more economical :-) the 6.7 or even the 24-valve version of the 5.9 would provide plenty of power with bags of torque, they power DAF LF55 and CF65 lorries and ADL Enviro300 and Enviro400 single and double decker buses in the UK so it's more than up to the job :-)

It's funny that the cars coming the other way all seem to lurch to the side of the road when they see you coming. I don't think I'd ever want a truck that big, but I'd like to own a YJ Jeep Wrangler at one point for a bit of fun.

Fun Video, it’s great to see his enthusiasm for a good sturdy American made muscle truck! And how did he know that’s where I keep my Glock 😂. I’m sorry but I can’t imagine a world of eco cars! Nothing brings a smile to a persons face quicker than the rumble of a Harley or Hemi Engine. Glad I’ll probably be gone from this weird new world before that happens. It’s as American as Apple pie!

A lot of complaints about fuel economy. I'm a cheap goof when it comes to gas, but what am I really out when I really compare? $10 maybe $20 per fill? I said screw it and went with a 5.7 Toyota. Around town (my daily), I'm averaging about 11-12MPG. With summer gas on the highway, the best it will do is 19MPG. Why complain if someone buys what they need and/or want? It's not your money.
