Project Car Genius : Fix a $425 VW Jetta with a $400 Jetta !

Just a few days before I was about to pull the transmission again from the $425 Mk5 Jetta & test out another transmission.. I get an email from a very lovely youtube subscriber !

In this email he said something along the lines of “Hey I have a silver Mk5 jetta that you might be able to use towards the project you’ve got going on!”
What could possibly go wrong??

Nice intro! This is turning out to be a very interesting project. You should also consider swapping the tail-lights for the clear ones, IMO it looks a lot better than plain red.

Love jettas had a black 2006 one absolutely lovely car. problem was it was a 1.6 petrol its bulletproof but drank like a fish and wouldnt pull ya out of bed. but I do miss that car.

Grab the steering wheel and white dot cluster out the $425 car. And the steering wheel module, I think it’s required for the multi function buttons.
